As a former Rocky Flats worker, I appreciate your effort in highlighting how our government has turned their backs on former workers with nuclear work related health issues. This short documentary is superbly done. Thank-you.
As a former Rocky Flats Worker I deeply appreciate the effort and time spent on making this video. It is very accurate as to the issues; I and My Fellow Coworkers in this Nuclear Industry have been lied to over and over, and denied over and over. On one of the SEM I contacted NIOSH that they had two identities listed in the same building (707) which I told the person I contacted that they didn’t have these facts correct and that person told me it didn’t matter as long that they had them listed that the buildings numbers didn’t matter. With that statement I asked how they could do an accurate Dose Reconstruction (D/R) when they could not put the right equipment in the correct building, this person said it don’t matter. They can not locate the buildings with equipment in them correctly. Then how accurate are the D/R’s that they are taking years to do? Along with this they have sent my D/R back through more than 3 times, because they had changes in their computer program because they found things that were not correct that we pointed out. Then with the two they had to do because I had new information, documentation. All of those that worked in these facilities were cleared for a “Q” Security Clearance (very trustworthy) now they insinuate that we would lie to receive the Monetary value of our claim which is a sizable amount in there eyes. Just how much are our lives worthy to them with this kind of attitude towards us workers? Trusted to keep there secrets in there Nuclear work but not on a claim, to be trustworthy. This effort in highlighting how our government has turned their backs on us workers with nuclear work related health issues is a tremendous help. Thanks
